Join Us for a Special Celebration of Leadership and Service

You are warmly invited to a heart-filled afternoon of celebration, gratitude, and inspiration as Women in Christian Leadership commemorates five years of faithful impact.

Our Volunteer Appreciation and 5th Anniversary Luncheon honors the extraordinary women whose dedication, service, and leadership have helped build and sustain this ministry. Their faithfulness has strengthened communities, encouraged leaders, and extended God's light into countless lives.

This milestone celebration, themed A Legacy of Light, reflects not only where we have been—but the enduring legacy God continues to build through willing hearts.

Together, we will celebrate the women who have answered His call and continue to lead with courage, humility, and love.

Come Sit with Me…

A Reflection from Founder Jeanne Porterreflecting on five years of Women in Christian Leadership

“God is not looking for ability—He’s looking for availability.”

When I Said Yes

Some people get to watch God move.

Others feel His nudge and quietly look the other way.

But every once in a while, someone hears His call and says, “Yes, Lord—whatever it is.”

I never imagined that my yes would become Women in Christian Leadership.

Looking back now, I see that nothing in my life was accidental. Every season—every joy, every hardship, every moment of stretching—was preparing me for obedience. When God first stirred my heart, I didn’t have a blueprint. I didn’t have all the answers. What I had was a deep, unmistakable knowing that He was asking me to step forward and trust Him with something bigger than myself.

That yes was not easy. And it certainly wasn’t convenient. The journey has been tedious—the kind of work that refines you, humbles you, and asks you to keep going when no one sees the cost. Yet it has also been profoundly fruitful. God has been faithful beyond measure. He has gathered women of wisdom, strength, courage, and deep faith around the table—women who lead with integrity and serve with open hands and surrendered hearts.

This is what Women in Christian Leadership has always been about.

Not a platform—but a calling.

Not a title—but a posture.

Not perfection—but availability.
